Albion have handed loan signing Billy Paynter his full debut - and been forced into another pre-match reshuffle.
The Leeds striker replaces Ashley Barnes at Watford tonight as the only planned change to the XI which kicked off at Birmingham on Saturday.
However the Seagulls, who lost Will Buckley in the warm-up at St Andrew's, were forced to pull Gonzalo Jara Reyes out of tonight's game in similar circumstances.
His place was taken by Ryan Harley with Romain Vincelot switching to right-back.
Alan Navarro, who travelled as 17th man, moves up to the bench.
Former Watford duo Will Hoskins and Buckley are both part of Albion's lengthening injury list but local boy Craig Mackail-Smith and ex-Hornets loanee Liam Bridcutt both play.
Watford ended a run of four defeats when they beat Peterborough 3-2 here at Vicarage Road on Saturday with Marvin Sordell on target twice.
Sordell is partnered in attack by former Albion striker Chris Iwelumo in an unchanged line-up.
Watford: Loach; Hodson, Nosworthy, Mariappa, Dickinson; Hogg, Yeates, Forsyth, Buaben; Sordell, Iwelumo. Subs: Gilmartin, Deeney, Jenkins, Kightly, Mirfin.
Albion (revised): Harper; Vincelot, Greer, Calderon, Painter; Bridcutt, Harley, Sparrow; Noone, Mackail-Smith, Paynter. Subs: Ankergren, Barnes, Navarro, LuaLua, Taricco.
Ref: Oliver Langford (West Midlands)
