Rob Hall scored the first international goal at The Amex tonight.

The West Ham striker, who was recently on loan at Oxford, struck on 80 minutes as England under-19s beat their Danish counterparts 1-0 in a friendly.

Hall's crisp left-foot finish was just reward for an England side who stepped up a gear in the second half.

As well as the goalscorer, Middlesbrough wide man Luke Williams looked very bright after coming off the bench.

Everton duo Jake Bidwell, an attacking left-back who played the first half, and Ross Barkley, in central midfield, also caught the eye.

England were cheered on a by a youthful crowd of 16,923.

Meanwhile Albion defender Lewis Dunk was an unused sub as England under-21s beat Iceland 5-0 in a Euro qualifier at Colchester.
