Albion prospect Jake Forster-Caskey has been assured his club form is under constant review by England.

The midfielder is likely to feature for England under-18s today as they take on Slovakia in a friendly.

Forster-Caskey helped the under-17s reach the quarter-finals of their age group World Cup in Mexico in June and early July but has had no international fixtures since.

He is part of an 18-man party for today’s game in Nitra (4pm).

The 17-year-old has yet to break into the first team picture with Albion this season but remains a big part of the youth international set-up.

England under-18s coach Noel Blake said: “The clubs know what we are doing.

“We have a really close relationship with the clubs our players are involved with.

“We obviously speak to Martin (Hinshelwood) here at Brighton regarding Jake.”

Forster-Caskey and company have no major competition to build towards this season.
