Albion boss Gus Poyet insists he is not bothered about Craig Mackail-Smith’s goal famine.
The £2.5 million former Peterborough marksman will be trying to score for the first time in ten games at Derby County tonight.
Poyet is more concerned about Mackail-Smith’s team-mates supplying him with chances to get back on the scoresheet.
The Seagulls’ chief told The Argus: “I’m calm. I hope that he’s calm and the rest of the strikers keep their calm. If they get nervous and worried they cause themselves problems.
“I think that is natural. I’m not worried about Macca. I know what he is giving me and that is why he is playing 90 minutes practically every game.
“If he was not playing I would be worried. It’s a matter of time. You cannot score every game and he is going to score. I’m not worried at all.
“For Craig to score the team need to produce. If we don’t it’s going to be difficult for him to score.”
