Albion defender Inigo Calderon has been ruled out until January following keyhole knee surgery.
The Spanish right-back was scheduled to be available again for Saturday's game at Middlesbrough after he was suspended for last Saturday's 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest at The Amex.
Now Calderon is out until the New Year as a result of repairs to cartilage damage he had been playing through in recent outings.
Meanwhile, versatile Frenchman Romain Vincelot no longer needs an operation on the shoulder he dislocated earlier in the season.
