Gus Poyet admitted his Albion side did not look like scoring in their 2-0 defeat at Coventry today.
The Seagulls were sunk by a goal in each half at the Ricoh Arena and have now not netted for four matches.
Their best chance came straight after going behind, when Craig Mackail-Smith got behind the defence but was denied by Joe Murphy, the home keeper.
Poyet said: "We were better than them in the first half.
"They had one good shot and they scored and it looked we would never score. It's impossible to win games when you don't score.
"We had possession. We had the best chance. When you are one against one with the goalkeeper, that's the best chance of the game."
