Albion have signed Colombian goalkeeper David Gonzalez on a short-term contract for the rest of the season.

The 29-year-old former Manchester City reserve was on trial with the Seagulls last week.

Boss Gus Poyet told The Argus: "He is going to be with us for four or five months. I know him, I have been following him for a while. I know the style of goalkeeper he is. We have got an agreement that is good for everyone.

"I want to see him playing and not just training. He has great potential for the future and will be competition for Casper (Ankergren) and Peter (Brezovan)."

Dorchester striker Ben Dickenson's move to The Amex is expected to completed on Thursday, subject to a medical.
