Gus Poyet believes a bold substitution helped Albion grab a 2-1 win at Peterborough today.
Young front runner Torbjorn Agdestein came off the bench and played a big part in Will Buckley's 88th-minute winner, his second goal of the game.
Weary Albion had just conceded an equaliser and looked like they might be happy with a point as the double switch, which also saw Alan Navarro go on, was made.
Boss Poyet revealed: “We had to make a decision as a staff and say 'What do we need?'
“Do we take a point and say 'Okay it's not our day even though we played well'?
“But you know us. We just look for the win every time and I believe it worked because it's nice to get three points."
Poyet felt Albion produced their best display for several weeks as they returned to London Road, scene of an impressive 3-0 success last term.
He said: “It looks like we enjoy coming here for some reason.
“In the first half we were very good, back to the team I like to see and the supporters as well.
“Having said that one goal is not enough, so we need to score a second."
