Martin Hinshelwood insists he is not finished with football – despite his recent departure from Albion.
The Seagulls’ former head of youth is seeking a new club and could secure a role in the Football League.
Hinshelwood, 59, is open to scouting or coaching positions and would love to get back in football as soon as possible.
He said: “I was with Brighton for 14 years, I’ve left by mutual consent but I still want to get back in the game.
“I’ve been in touch with Football League clubs, I’ve spoken to a couple of non-league clubs.
“I’m looking at coaching and managing roles. I’m just keeping my options open at the moment.
“People know what I can do. I’ve got plenty of experience.”
Hinshelwood received messages of thanks from several of his former youth team players when his departure from the club was announced recently.
Albion are now advertising for a new manager of what they plan to become a Category 2 Academy.
