Albion lost Craig Mackail-Smith and Kazenga LuaLua to injuries in a 3-0 friendly victory at Lewes tonight which marked the comeback from a 14-month absence of Tommy Elphick.
Mackail-Smith limped off in the first half at the Dripping Pan and LuaLua followed suit after winning a second half penalty.
Elphick skippered the Seagulls' second half line-up on his return from a ruptured Achilles as Gus Poyet again fielded different elevens in each 45 minutes.
Ashley Barnes and Will Hoskins were among the goals once more after scoring at Maidstone on Saturday.
Barnes (45), Hoskins (65 penalty) and Toby Agdestein (78) made it eight goals without reply in two run-outs for Albion following the Maidstone victory in which Barnes hit a nine-minute hat-trick.
Albion's first half line-up included youngster Solly March, signed from Lewes last season.
