Inigo Calderon has warned the rest of the Championship to be afraid of his Albion team-mate and fellow Spaniard Vicente .
The former Valencia star is back in his home country with the rest of the Seagulls’ squad at their pre-season training camp in Jerez following his first half outing at Hastings on Saturday.
Calderon, pictured below, is convinced his fellow countryman will be even more of a threat in the Championship this season after some inspired performances in his limited appearances last season.
The right-back told The Argus: “Having Vicente with us is great, even more so because he is fit and I think he is going to be better than last season, so it could be very, very good.
“The main difference is he has been with us for nearly all of pre-season, except for one week. He didn’t do a pre-season last year and that was the problem.
“He just wanted to play as soon as possible. Now he is ready to play more games for sure.
“He is getting fitter and fitter every day and he is going to be perfect for us. The rest of the Championship should be a bit afraid of that.”
