Craig Noone has revealed he is over the hamstring problem which hindered him last season.

But he is keen to get more playing time as Albion prepare for the new season.

The Seagulls complete their pre-season build-up at Crawley tomorrow ahead of the Capital One Cup tie at Swindon next Tuesday.

Noone played most of the Michel Kuipers testimonial on Tuesday and declared himself well and truly over the injury which sidelined him at the turn of the year.

He limped out of the defeat at Coventry on New Year’s Eve and made only two more starts all season.

The former Plymouth winger said: “This is the toughest pre-season I have done but it has been the best organised.

“I’ve never felt fitter than I have been feeling lately.

“Towards the end of the season I was getting a recurrence of it but the summer has done me well.

“I have come back and had no problems.”

Noone replaced injured Will Buckley on Tuesday as the only outfield change to the side which started against Chelsea on Saturday.

Boss Gus Poyet could be tempted to offer other members of his squad a run at Broadfield Stadium .

Wayne Bridge is expected to play after a muscular injury.
