Top scorer Craig Mackail-Smith is back in action for Albion today.
The six-goal striker returns after a hamstring injury as one of three changes to the team which drew at Derby just before the international break.
The others come in midfield where Dean Hammond and Andrew Crofts return.
Will Buckley, Andrea Orlandi and Gary Dicker miss out on a start.
Former England defender Jonathan Woodgate skippers a Boro side missing top marksman Lucas Jutkiewicz to a knee injury.
They bring in Scott McDonald in support of main striker Marvin Emnes.
