Burgess Hill have been hit with an eight-point deduction and £400 fine by the Ryman League after fielding a player without international clearance.
The Ryman League division one south side have been punished for playing Frenchman Romain Le Roux without the necessary clearance.
It is another setback for the Hillians who yesterday were given six months' notice to leave their home by the Mid Sussex District Council for breaching the lease on the ground.
