Nicky Ajose starts for the first time in 11 games as Crawley take on Shrewsbury Town at the Broadfield Stadium.
The striker comes into the attack alongside Gary Alexander with the in-form Billy Clarke ruled out by a hamstring strain.
Clarke - who had scored six in his last nine games - limped off during the 3-0 FA Cup victory over Chelmsford City last weekend.
Ajose's last start came in the 3-2 home win over Bury back in mid-October. The on-loan Peterborough forward has not scored since September 1 but claimed a hat-trick in the Senior Cup win over Whitehawk ten days ago.
Sergio Torres keeps his place in midfield ahead of Mike Jones after impressing against Chelmsford, as does David Hunt at right-back with Nathan Byrne on the bench.
Kyle McFadzean remains sidelined by a virus so Mark Connolly lcontinues alongside Claude Davis at centre-back.
Crawley (4-4-2): P Jones; Hunt, Connolly, Davis, Sadler; Adams, Akpan, Simpson, Torres; Ajose, Alexander. Subs: Kuipers, Clifford, Walsh, Bulman, Akinde, Byrne, M Jones.
