Crawley have extended Mat Sadler’s loan from Rotherham United for another month.
The left-back initially joined on a month’s loan from the Millers in September but the deal ran out after Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at home to Peterborough.
With regular left-back Ryan Dickson still sidelined by injury for at least another two weeks Reds boss John Gregory was keen to keep Sadler for as long as possible.
Rotherham boss Steve Evans has agreed a one-month extension which means he will be available for Saturday’s trip to Notts County.
Sadler’s loan spell will take in a further four League One games plus the area quarter-final of the JP Trophy but he will not be eligible to play in the FA Cup first round on November 8.
