Dean Saunders bemoaned lapses in concentration as Crawley lost 2-1 at home to League One leaders Bristol City.
The Reds were sunk by a goal six minutes from time, having matched the table-toppers for most of the contest.
Saunders said: “I’m gutted that we have come away with nothing.
“That is two good performances. Today was probably better than the Bradford performance but we have switched off for two set-plays.
“The second goal I went over it for an hour (in training) on Friday, we went over the exact situation to make sure everybody was standing in the right place and they score from a set-play so I’m absolutely gutted and I won’t sleep tonight because of that.
“I’m pleased with the way we played but it means nothing.”
