Crawley have brought back Mark Connolly - as one of two defensive signings today.

Connolly returns on a two-year deal, two years after leaving the club for Kilmarnock.

Connolly, described as "a warrior" by Reds head coach Dermot Drummy, skippered the Scottish outfit but was hindered by injury.

Reds have also snapped up right-back Alper Tursun, who has played for Alanyaspor in the Turkish league, on a one-year deal.

Tursun, 23, is from London.
