COACH Mark Robinson insists Sussex must keep level heads after getting their Friends Life t20 campaign up and running.
The Sharks bounced back from Friday’s opening defeat at home to Surrey with 24-run success against Middlesex at Lord’s yesterday.
They go to Surrey on Wednesday before hosting Hampshire at the PROBIZ County Ground on Friday and Robinson wants his players to find a level of consistency.
He said: “It is nice to win, it makes everyone feel happier.
“In this type of cricket, more than any other type, you are hero or villain very quickly but you are never either, you are somewhere in between all the time. That is what you have to tell yourselves.
“Chris Jordan had a difficult last two overs on Friday and today he had two great overs. Lids (Chris Liddle) had a great three overs at Hove and he probably had three unfortunate overs (yesterday).
“That is the swings and roundabouts but as a performer you want to be consistent in how you carry yourself and you want to be consistent in how you deliver.”
