Sussex duo Tymal Mills and Chris Jordan have been included in a 16-man England Lions squad.

The pair have both suffered injury-blighted summer's but their selection shows they remain in England's long-term plans.

Jordan - who suffered a side injury on England duty in June - was also included in the full England squad for three Twenty20 internationals against Pakistan in the UAE in November.

Mills has been troubled with an ongoing back problem all season and was restricted to playing only Twenty20 cricket for the majority of the campaign.

The pair will take part in a four-day training camp at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough in early November before Mills travels to South Africa for a ten-day fast bowlers' camp in Potchefstroom under the guidance of Kevin Shine and Jordan heads to Dubai to prepare for England's Twenty20 series against Pakistan.

Mills will join him in the UAE at the end of November ahead of five Twenty20 matches between the Lions and Pakistan A.

The Lions will be led by former England coach Andy Flower with Cuckfield-born Hampshire batsman James Vince captaining the squad.
