Sussex celebrate a wicket in their curtailed contest with Northants
Sussex’s opening Championship match of the season has been abandoned as a draw.
The final day’s action against Northants at Wantage Road was called off today due to overnight rain.
Sussex finish with six points while Northants take nine.
Northants made 481-1 in their first innings but there was very little action after the first day.
Sussex start a Championship contest against Essex at Hove on Sunday.
