Sussex were frustrated by rain again tonight after they thought they had built a good platform.
Sharks blasted 87-2 off just eight overs against Glamorgan at Cardiff before rain returned.
The washout followed a similar scenario at Cheltenham last Sunday when Sussex felt they had batted themselves into a decent position at halfway.
They lost Chris Nash and Luke Wright early in a nineo-over thrash after being put in.
But Salt, in for the rested Tymal Mills, hit 28 off 21 balls and Ross Taylor fired 40 from 19 in a stand of 68.
That was rain started falling again and the abandonment was inevitable.
