Sussex have opted for a thre-pronged seam attack for their County Championship clash with Somerset at Hove.
Andrew Hodd has come in as a specialist batsman in place of injured all-rounder Luke Wright for the division one match.
That leaves James Anyon, Rana Naved and Amjad Khan to lead the attack along with spinner Monty Panesar.
Ollie Rayner was expected to come in as a second spinner but overnight rain forced a change of heart while Naved Arif was overlooked for the second match in a row.
Sussex skipper Mike Yardy is leading the side for the second Championship match in a row following his struggles with depression. He won the toss and elected to field.
Sussex: Joyce, Nash, Wells, Goodwin, Yardy, Prior, Hodd, Rana, Anyon, Khan, Panesar.
Somerset: Trescothick, Suppiah, Compton, Buttler, Trego, Hussain, Kirby, Barrow, Willoughby, Meschede, Gregory
