Eastbourne Borough's winless streak extended to nine league games as they threw away victory against Histon.
Liam Enver-Marum had put Borough ahead three minutes before the interval with a fine finish after a strong run from Joe Benjamin.
Referee Chris Powell awarded Borough a penalty a minute after the restart but Paul Armstrong's spot kick was saved by Danny Naisbitt.
Bradley Hudson-Odoi then equalised in the 63rd minute from a cross by Lanre Oyebanjo and Borough were holding on a bit at the end.
Histon had started the brightest and Danny Knowles saved twice from Hudson-Odoi in the early stages.
Borough came into the game and Enver-Marum had two opportunities, one saved by Naisbitt and the other blocked by Gareth Gwillim.
Enver-Marum made no mistake in the 42nd minute though when he fired a low shot past Naisbitt after linking well with Benjamin.
Benjamin won the penalty in the 46th minute when he stumbled over a challenge by Adam Bygraves but Armstrong's spot kick was too close to Naisbitt.
Naisbitt also saved a shot from Simon Weatherstone following a good Borough move but Histon came back strongly.
They got their reward when Danny Brown gave the ball away cheaply which allowed Oyebanjo to set Hudson-Odoi to score.
Histon also thought they had a good shout for a penalty from a corner but Powell said no and Borough held on for a point.
