Whitehawk have snapped up exciting teenage Notts County winger Romello Nangle.

The 19-year-old has joined the Hawks on loan for the rest of the season and will make his debut away to fellow Conference south strugglers Maidenhead tomorrow.

Nangle has played eight times in the Football League for Notts County, all as substitute, and scored his first goal at home to Colchester at the end of last season.

Hawks boss Steven King, above, said: “He is a forward but essentially a right winger with blistering pace. He will be a good acquisition.”

Another new signing, former Lewes defender Max Hustwick, made his debut in Thursday night’s 2-0 defeat to Havant and Waterlooville.
