Super-sub Terry Dodd bagged an 83rd-minute leveller as Lewes fought back from 2-1 down to draw 2-2 with VCD Athletic last night in the Ryman League premier division.

Midfielder Jack Dixon put the Rooks ahead in the 31st minute at the Dripping Pan.

Karl Dent levelled for the visitors three minutes before the interval and Michael Power looked to have put them on their way to all three points with a 78th-minute effort.

But Dodd came to the rescue for the Rooks with the leveller.

A Lloyd Dawes goal steered Worthing to a 1-0 victory over visitors Sittingbourne.

Dawes struck in the 73rd minute to give Adam Hinshelwood’s side the win.
