Whitehawk manager Steven King has been named Vanarama Conference south manager of the month for February.
King guided the Hawks to 13 points out of a possible 15 during the month to consolidate their place in the play-off positions.
The month included an excellent 3-0 win at home to Boreham Wood, who were unbeaten at the time.
The awards panel who selected King consists of representatives from the Football Conference, the media and Vanarama.
In a statement they said: “A manager who has tasted success on several occasions during his career, Steve King has placed the Hawks in a comfortable position in the play-off positions for the Vanarama Conference south.
“During the month of February he has seen his charges record a superb haul of 13 points and they now sit fourth in the table, six points behind leaders Bromley.
“The Brighton-based club are now well placed to make a final determined charge over their remaining eight fixtures to be played in the division.”
