Lewes will be without Crawley Town loanee Emmett O’Connor for the Easter programme and possibly beyond.

The Canadian forward scored on his debut against Enfield Town nine days ago but suffered a hamstring injury which forced him off before half-time in the defeat at VCD Athletic last Saturday.

It was a disappointing afternoon for the Rooks as they had Albion youngster Jack Rowe-Hurst sent off for handball in the penalty area after just 15 minutes.

Rowe-Hurst will now serve a one-match ban but is available for the Easter games at home to Harrow Borough today and at Bognor on Monday.

Lewes interim boss Steve Brown said: “We lost both wingers who I thought had done particularly well in the midweek win, one after 15 minutes and one after 40.

“Emmett will be missing for ten days which is a third of his loan. That is disappointing but it opens the door to someone else.”

Tom Davis and Elliott Romain are both suspended this weekend, George Brown is unavailable, Sam Cole is an injury doubt and Josh Marshall has been ill all week.

In addition, Luke Blewden (thigh) and Nicky Wheeler (foot) are struggling with knocks which they have carried through recent games.
