Steven King is wary of the threat Wealdstone pose to Whitehawk’s play-off hopes.

But the Hawks boss is happy to have the club’s destiny in their own hands.

They are currently fifth in Vanarama Conference south and will be guaranteed a place in the play-offs should they win their remaining three games.

The first of those is at mid-table Wealdstone today but King knows they are a dangerous side.

He said: “It is in our hands now. We don’t have to rely on other teams, if we win our games we are in the play-offs and that is the position any manager would like to be in.

“But don’t get me wrong, it won’t be easy. Wealdstone beat Gosport and they only lost 1-0 to Ebbsfleet.

“They have a forward in form in Jefferson Louis who I know very well because he has played for me in the past and he has played for Whitehawk in the past.

“But I have massive faith in my team. On our day we can beat anyone.”

Pa Saikou Kujabi serves a one-match suspension and John-Paul Kissock completes a two-game ban.

But Lee Hills returns from a knee problem and Osei Sankofa is back after only being able to sit on the bench against Hayes and Yeading on Monday due to a leg injury.

King has no new injury problems, although Paul Lorraine remains sidelined.
