Eastbourne Borough will be in the hat for the FA Cup first round proper draw on Monday night after a goalless draw with Conference visitors Dover at Priory Lane today.
Gavin McCallum had Borough's best chance of the first half but scuffed a shot when clean through after a mistake by the visiting defence.
Dover threatened more after the break with Jake Reid unable to convert a Tom Murphy cross and then denied by Borough keeper Lewis Carey who got down well at his feet.
Ryman south leaders Burgess Hill lost 3-1 at Conference opponents Dartford.
Harry Crawford struck twice to give the Darts a 2-0 lead after 16 minutes but Darren Budd replied for Burgess Hill in the 33rd minute.
Hillians suffered a major blow in the 39th minute when Toby Pointing was sent off and Eliott Bradbrook converted from the spot.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, the Hillians did not concede again.
