Charlie Grice came fifth as Chris O'Hare dug in to claim 1500 metres bronze and take Great Britain's medal tally to six at the European Indoor Championships in Prague today.
O'Hare, 24, held off the challenge of Germany's Homiyu Tesfaye down the home straight and crossed the line in three minutes 38.96 seconds.
Brighton Phoenix star Grice was pushed wide and the 21-year-old was unable to force his way into the medal positions but produced a lifetime’s best performance of 3.39.43 minutes.
Home favourite Jakub Holusa snatched gold from Turkey's Ilham Tanui Ozbilen in the O2 Arena as O'Hare followed them home.
