WHITEHAWK are hoping Albion regulars get behind them in the FA Cup.

But they admit their first round tie at home to Lincoln City was pushed back a day on police advice rather than at the club’s request.

Conference south Whitehawk will host the National League premier outfit on Sunday, November 8 at the Enclosed Ground (2pm).

That means Steven King’s side avoid a clash with the Seagulls game versus MK Dons the previous day.

A club source said the switch was made because stewards who work at the Amex will also be required to staff the Whitehawk game.

Capacity has been set at 3,200 with room for 300 away fans at the northern end of the ground.

Admission will cost £12 for adults and £7 for concessions and the game will be pay on the gate.

A crowd of about 1,500 is expected, a figure 600 short of the club’s record attendance.
