Horsham's FA Cup hero Nigel Brake today declared: "Bring Swansea on."

Hornets have drawn the League One high-flyers at home after reaching the second round of the FA Cup for the first time in their 126-year history.

And Brake - whose stunning long-range strike impressed Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer - believes his side are capable of an upset.

He said: "It's a great draw. Swansea only beat Billericay 2-1 on Saturday while we showed what we could do against higher level opposition in Maidenhead by being resilient and scoring great goals.

"Even though Swansea are a couple of levels higher than Maidenhead I still think we have a chance of upsetting the odds.

"I'm glad my goal helped us and that Alan Shearer said some nice things about me.

"But there is no chance of me becoming a big time Charlie. I haven't even seen the programme yet because I was out with my girlfriend - and I am back to the day job in sales today."

Horsham had no problems coping with a crowd of 3,379 on Saturday and will not switch the tie, which is scheduled for December 1.

They hope to increase capacity at the AtSpeed Stadium from 3,500 to 8,000 and are keeping their fingers crossed that the tie attracts live television coverage which would earn the club a share of £150,000.

Chairman Frank King said: "We will definitely stage it at home. We owe it to the supporters.

"We will hold meetings with the police and fire brigade over health and safety issues but we want to build a temporary stand. I am sure there will be a big interest in the game."

Manager John Maggs said: "I'm delighted with the draw. There will be no fear factor, we will be confident. There could be a shock on the day and we can provide it.

"It is the best draw we could have had apart from Leeds or Nottingham Forest."
