Worthing have their fingers crossed that scrum half Todd Murphy makes their summit meeting at Richmond.

Murphy suffered a shoulder injury in the impressive 38-19 win at Portsmouth and faces at least two or three weeks on the sidelines.

Raiders coach Ian Davies was delighted with how his London One title-chasers took charge of their trip to an improved Portsmouth side, in which they led 19-0 and 38-7.

But he admits they could do with having their No. 9 back for their trip to leaders Richmond on December 1.

Davies said: "We played some really good rugby for 30 minutes but we lost momentum and urgency after Todd went off.

"We still scored a couple of tries but we would have had more if he had been out there."

Despite that, it was an impressive display by Worthing, who were also missing former England wing Tom Beim and had to re-shuffle their back line.

Recalled Matt Farnes scythed through for an early score after sleight of hand from Ben Dudley.

Dave Davis, Jamie Stewart-McDonald, Peter Cleveland, Ben Coulson and the impressive Jamie Redmayne all scored tries before Worthing made changes. Duncan Taylor kicked four conversions.

Their habit of conceding tries when a game is won continued as Portsmouth got over twice late on.

Haywards Heath appear to be moving through the gears nicely in London Two South.

They scored eight tries, three of them by Joe Govett, in winning 51-0 at home to Sevenoaks to keep the heat on leaders Jersey.

Heath made a great start, although they did not really get into their stride until after the break.

Govett's try and a Matt Jarrett penalty sent them 8-0 up after five minutes.

Huw Jenkins also scored before the break.

Then the floodgates really opened. Paul Flemming scored with a clever chip-and-chase, Alex Harle powered over after combining with James Trevis, and four tries followed in the closing stages, though Govett (2), Nick Miller and Dave Wattam.

Matt Jarrett finished the game with four conversions and a penalty.
