Eastbourne Borough manager Garry Wilson believes his high-flying side will bounce back after their first away defeat of the season.

Borough missed the chance to close the gap on leaders Lewes when they were pipped 2-1 at play-off hopefuls Bishop's Stortford.

The visitors took an early lead through Nathan Crabb and Andy Atkin had a penalty appeal turned down before an Ahmed Deen free-kick and Danny Harris tap-in ensured victory for the hosts.

Wilson said: "It would have been a good time to win as none of the top five managed victories but it was only a blip.

"If we had got the penalty we would have got the three points. We didn't deserve to lose."
