Worthing have signed Jerahl Hughes on a month's loan from League One side Yeovil.

Hughes was part of the successful Dorothy Stringer School side managed by Worthing boss Alan Pook and subsequently became a trainee at Crystal Palace.

He switched to Yeovil last summer and the Rebels are hoping a spell at Woodside Road can kickstart his career with the Glovers.

Pook said: "Jerahl can play down either wing or through the middle. He is an exciting player with lots of pace. It will be good for us and also good for him.

"I am keen to for Jerahl to get his goalscoring back on track and then go back to Yeovil to pursue a pro career."

Hughes should make his debut in Tuesday's home game with Walton Casuals when Sam Francis will also be back in the squad after a spell away from football.
