Stand-in outside half James Ohlson has given East Grinstead a selection headache.

The former colts player scored five tries as Gs won 59-5 at Pulborough in Sussex One.

Ohlson has been travelling back from university in recent weeks to cover for Mark Harrison, who is in Africa. Harrison, though, returns this week and should be available for the weekend.

James Wiseman, Mark Fulham and Dan Arnold also scored tries and David Jones kicked nine out of nine.

Victory was marred by a broken leg in the opening minutes to wing Hass Cifdel, playing his first year of senior rugby after coming through the colts set-up.

Heathfield and Waldron are back in form as they canter towards the Sussex One title.

They stepped up several gears after a couple of narrow wins to hammer Burgess Hill 54-0.

Eddie Armah scored a try hat-trick and Rob Lawrence and Matt Skinner got over twice each.

Damien Pestell and Simon Wilson added tries and Skinner kicked three conversions and a penalty for a 19-point tally.

Ben Cox kicked a late penalty to clinch Seaford's 13-11 home win over Brighton in a good tussle.

They clung on with 14 men for the last five minutes as, with all replacements used, Dan Kristiansen went off with torn tendons in a foot.

Lock Jess Thomsett scored Brighton's try and Steve Dean kicked two penalties.

Danny Newby and James Morgan scored Seaford's tries in a seesaw affair in which each team led on three separate occasions.

Crawley came from behind to win 6-3 at Hellingly in a dour contest in heavy conditions. Andy Evans kicked two penalties,.
