UCKFIELD Town continued their revival under fledgling boss Simon Rowland with a thumping 7-0 win over Hurstpierpoint in County League division three.

Dan Barnard led the way with a hat-trick for Uckfield who have now climbed from bottom place to ninth in the table. Joe Miller chipped in with a brace while Naim Rouane and Ben Bradley added one apiece.

Nick Tilley scored twice as leaders Loxwood twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at home to to Bexhill United, for whom Neil Quigley and Warren Parsons found the net.

Third-placed Newhaven won 3-0 away to Forest thanks to goals from Ryan Walton (two) and Simon Halsey.

The result prompted the resignation of Forest manager Julian Miller with his team bottom of the table.

Dorking Wanderers returned to winning ways with a 5-2 success at Little Common. Mick Daniels (two), Shane Jones, C. Duffell and Dan Joliffe scored for the visitors with Temple and Lewis Hole replying for the hosts.

Scott Turner and Darren Mansell were the marksmen as Rottingdean Village won 2-1 at home to Ifield Edwards, who replied through Michael Lind.
