New boys Crowborough expect to give a first start of the campaign to striker Wes Tate at home to Fleet Town in Ryman division one south tomorrow.
Tate has been struggling with an ankle injury which has limited him to two appearances from the bench but is expected to lead the line tomorrow.
After back-to-back defeats joint manager Steve Johnson knows where Crows need to improve.
He said: “We can score goals without a problem but at the moment we don’t know how to defend as a team.
“Sometimes if you need to put the ball in the stand that is what you do. It is still a learning curve for us.”
The Crows are still without Justin Harris due to a knee injury and summer signing Dave Soutar, although he will be available for Monday’s game at Worthing.
