Three Sussex golfers continue their bid to earn a place on the European Tour today.
Ollie Turnill, Ben Evans and Paul Jones tee it up at the second stage of Qualifying School in Jerez, Spain, knowing the odds are stacked against them.
The trio have already come through a testing first stage where they were among 185 to make it to Spain out of a field of 715 hopefuls.
Now they must finish in the top 20 at their respective venues over the next four days to make it through to the final stage at PGA Catalunya next Saturday.
If they manage that then they must finish in the top 30 from a top-class field of more than 150 to earn a precious card to compete alongside the likes of Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington next season.
