Crawley were unable to name a recognised striker in their line-up for tonight's Blue Square premier clash with Salisbury City at the Broadfield.

Danny Forrest and Calum Willock were both injured and Charlie Ademeno was only fit enough to make the bench while Jefferson Louis, who is also injured, is on loan at Rushden.

Boss Steve Evans added to his squad today by registering midfielder Mbvie Lokando, a 20-year-old Congo international.

Lokando started his career in Arsenal's youth team and had brief spells with Southend and Dagenham & Redbridge. Most recently he has been playing for Leyton in the Ryman League.

Evans is still trying to bring in a striker and hopes to agree a deal with Millwall before Thursday's loan deadline for striker Ashley Grimes, who has made six first-team starts for the Lions including a sub appearance against Wycombe on Saturday.

Evans made two changes to the side beaten 2-1 at Hayes on Saturday with Simon Rusk returning and Lewis Killeen making his first start since September 1.

Reds' target Matthew Tubbs led the Salisbury attack with former Albion target man Danny Webb.

Crawley: Rayner, Wilson, Quinn, Giles, Rusk, Smith, Pinault, Hutchinson, Malcolm, Killeen. Subs: Ademeno, Lokando, Napper, Carter, Jordan.

Salisbury: Bittner, Clohessy, Turley, Cox, Ruddick; Flood, Anderson, Clarke, O'Hara; Webb, Tubbs. Subs: Gray, Brown, Osman, Oastler, Tafazolli.
