Dave Titmuss has stepped down as head coach of Worthing Thunder.
Titmuss, who led Thunder to a first-ever BBL play-off spot, is leaving the club after only one season for personal reasons.
Thunder insist he has not left them to coach a rival BBL club.
In a prepared statement, Titmuss told fans: "I'm very pleased to have had an opportunity to play a part in key developments at the club and with what we were able to accomplish as a second-year BBL franchise.
"I have made many friends in my short time on the south coast and, although I am unable to continue, I do wish everyone there the good luck for the future that they so richly deserve."
Titmuss was not willing to add to his statement when contacted by The Argus.
