With the economy continuing to struggle, events are increasingly difficult to stage.

But that doesn’t stop our hardworking community groups putting them on.

Whether it is a summer fair, charity ball, fundraising football tournament or children’s talent show, we want to hear your nominations.

Award winners will be announced at a glitzy awards night held at Theatre Royal Brighton hosted by newsreader Nicholas Owen in October.
