Every charity deserves this award but please tell us why yours is more deserving. Has a charity donated time or money, which has made a real difference to Sussex individuals or the community? Tell us why it should win. This award is sponsored by Legal & General

This year more than ever we need you the readers to tell us who you think should win.

We want to hear as much detail about your nominations as possible so feel free to send as much information on each nominee as you can think of.

Award winners will be announced at a glitzy awards night held at Theatre Royal Brighton hosted by newsreader Nicholas Owen in October.

You can nominate as many people as you like for as many different awards as you like online.

Nominations must be received by The Argus by August 29.

Nominations received so far include: Rise, Sussex Beacon, Friends First, Kangaroos, St Barnabas House, Community Transport for Lewes Area, Edwards Starr Charitable Trust, Lunch Positive, Basic Bank Brighton and Hove City Mission, Fun in Action, Whitehawk Inn, Friends Centre, Brighton Peace & Environment Centre, Carelink Plus, Project Antifreeze, Tuesday O'Hara Fund, Friends of Downs View School, Sussex Central YMCA, Brighton Oasis Project and the Alzheimer's Society.
