We are looking for the teacher that has done the most to inspire their students to take up Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.

This would involve motivating them to both study these subjects, as part of a broad and solid education programme, and encouraging them to consider STEM as a viable and worthy career path – be it at professional, technician or even craft level.

Not only would the teacher show an infectious enthusiasm for their subject but also demonstrate innovative methods of engaging young people, including developing links and relationships with the wider industrial community.
