A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash on the A259 at Seaford today.
Police received reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Marine Parade at 12.20pm.
A police spokesman said: "Emergency services attended the scene.
"The motorcyclist is reported to have suffered serious injuries."
The area around the crash site was taped off while police and paramedics attended.
Pictures show th air ambulance on the grass by the junction with Hawth Hill.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "At 12.21 today we responded with two cars and two ambulances to a road traffic collision between a car and motorcycle near Marine Parade, Seaford.
"The air ambulance also attended and a patient was taken by road ambulance, accompanied by the air ambulance team, to the Royal Sussex Hospital, Brighton with multiple injuries.

"Another male patient was treated on scene but not taken to hospital."
