A person has been hit by a train between Horsham and Barnham
A PERSON has been hit by a train.
Southern Rail confirmed the incident happened on the line between Horsham and Barnham this afternoon.
There is disruption to services travelling through the area as a result.
Shortly before 1pm, a spokesman for the rail company said: "It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Horsham and Barnham.
"All lines are blocked between these stations while emergency services work to deal with this incident.
"Service information will follow."
Disruption to services is expected to last until 4pm.
