THE UK could see record-breaking temperatures this week – just as people enjoy the relaxation of lockdown restrictions.

Parts of south east England could see the mercury rise up to 24c tomorrow, but how hot will it get in Brighton and Hove?

Unfortunately for potential seaside sun-seekers, while temperatures elsewhere in the country look set to rival destinations like Ibiza, the city will remain substantially cooler.

According to the Met Office, temperatures will hit highs of about 11c today with the clouds disappearing at about 4pm, making way for a cool but sunny evening.
