AN ALBION star has been named the sexiest player in the Premier League.

Experts at FootballBreak travel agency claim to have discovered which player in England's top flight is the most attractive according to science and the answer is... Jakub Moder.

They looked at the faces of 582 footballers, applying the golden ratio - the idea that the more symmetrical your face is, the more likely people are to find you attractive.

It was used during the European Renaissance, as renowned artists and architects would use the equation to map out their masterpieces. Thousands of years later, scientists have adopted this mathematical formula to help explain why some people are considered beautiful and others are not.

Moder scored higher than England star Jack Grealish, with the Euro 2020 heartthrob failing to even make the top 20.

The accolade will be an extra boost for the 22-year-old Polish midfielder, who has had a good start to the season, contributing to Albion's two wins with his performances.

To determine which players were the most attractive, each was given a golden ratio score, which is then translated into a final score percentage based on how close their score was to 100 per cent.

These percentage scores were tallied and ranked, with Moder rating at 90.82 per cent.

Albion's Shane Duffy, recently on loan at Celtic, was named in tenth place with a rating of 87.82 per cent.

Duffy scored a goal on his Amex return against Watford on Saturday, with Albion winning 2 - 0.

However, the Hornets fare a little better when it comes to looks with more players in the list than any other Premier League side.

Watford's Kiko Femenia came in second place with a 90.40 per cent rating.

Philip Zinchernagel, who is now on loan at Nottingham Forest, scored 89.75 per cent, Francisco Sierralta received an 89.19 per cent rating and Pontus Dahlberg was rated at 86.71 per cent.

As for £100 million man Grealish, he failed to even make the top 20 with a rating of just 54.83 per cent.
