BEACHES in West Sussex are at the top of the table when it comes to the number of toilets.
A recent study shows visitors are unlikely be caught short as 85 per cent of the county’s 26 beaches have toilets.
That's the most in the south of England and is beaten only by Merseyside in Great Britain, with 92 per cent of its 13 beaches having loos.
Topping the UK list, compiled by esta-america.com, was a tie between County Londonderry and Guernsey, both with 100 per cent of their beaches having toilets.
The South East region as a whole scored highly in the list, with 78 per cent of its 192 beaches equipped with toilets.
This was in contrast to the Isle of Man at the bottom, with only 38 per cent.
The study comes in the same month it was revealed that Brighton and Hove has some of the best public toilets in the UK, scoring third behind Edinburgh and Peterborough.
